Stretch film is a modern multi-layer packaging material made of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). This packaging has a number of advantages compared to other packaging, such as:

  • ability to stretch up to 300% of its original length and to restore its original size securely tightening and strengthening the goods;
  • has high mechanical puncture resistance;
  • has a cling layer that allows the film to stick to itself, but not to the packed goods;
  • high degree of transparency of the film allows one to have a visual assess to the packed goods;
  • operates over a wide temperature range;
  • environmentally friendly material that can touch even with food;
  • possibility to produce films with different additives that can protect the packed goods from exposure to sunlight and UV light, and various dyes protect the cargo from the "prying eyes" and to simplify warehouse logistics.

The film is produced of different thickness (from 9 to 50 microns), width (from 125 to 1500 mm) and good length that allow choosing the right type of film for packaging of the specific cargo.

Stretch films are used mainly for transport packaging. They are used to pack a variety of goods, including mixed-bulky goods on pallets using a rotary wrapping. This package provides safety of goods from the external environment (sealed load) and theft during the transportation, warehousing, storage, greatly simplifies and speeds up the loading and unloading operations.
