Scotch

Scotch is the adhesive tape made of a particularly strong film (biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP)), coated by a glue layer on the acrylic, rubber or water base. Scotch withstands high mechanical loads, does not stretch, elastic, does not change its properties at high and low temperatures, humid and dusty conditions. High adhesive performance to various surfaces makes it suitable for safe packaging of goods in paper boxes, plastic and other packaging for further storage or transportation, as well as to fix a number of product parts. Scotch has variable length (from 30 to 990 meters), thickness (from 30 to 70 microns) and width (from 8 to 150 mm). The most common width of the packaging tape is 48 and 72 mm.

Scotch is divided into several types:

• Transparent - applies in all areas of production for packing or fixing the products.
• Color - like other subtypes of adhesive tape made of polypropylene film coated with the adhesive composition with the addition of the dye. As a rule, the color scotch is mostly demanded where homogeneous boxes require distinctive properties: large storage areas, logistics companies, various productions sites, as well as to give a package holiday type.
• Scotch With a logo is used as a universal advertising means. It serves to personalize the product as an additional advertising means, to prevent unauthorized breaches and to ensure the reliability and integrity of the package, gives the package a colorful look.

Also the adhesive tape is divided into:

• Adhesive tape for manual packaging - designed for sealing packages for small industries, in repacking of goods at warehouses, as well as in everyday life for bonding and fixing of various cargo. Usually its length is from 30 to 130 meters.
• Adhesive tape for the machine (industrial) packaging is used by large factories and conveyor lines, where there is need to automate the process of sealing the packages by the specialized equipment: up to 990 meters long adhesive tape is used.

Standard Scotch It is recommended to use for manual packaging of high quality cardboard boxes T-23, 3-5 kg.	Premium Scotch It is used for automatic sealing machines and is ideal for use in the off-season and winter.
